The Program reaches out to African Caribbean communities who are at risk, affected and living with HIV/AIDS in Windsor-Essex. This is a province wide initiative working closely with the HIV Endemic Task Force (HEFC) and the African and Caribbean Council on HIV/AIDS in Ontario (ACCHO). The program is designed to reduce barriers that affect the lives of African Caribbean Communities living with HIV and the behaviors that foster HIV transmission.
In an effort to decrease the rate of infection in African Caribbean communities our program provides practical support and education to these communities through a number of outreach programs. Some of our successful services include:
