Today marks the National Day of Action on the Overdose Crisis. [DYK] In the first half of 2018 there were 2,066 apparent opioid-related deaths that occurred in Canada. Locally, 36 people in Windsor-Essex and 5 people in Chatham-Kent lost their lives from an opiate overdose in 2017.
